PINK PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Presented by the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department

7:30 until 10:30 a.m., food tent at Miller Lite Central City Park

Join us in the Food Court for an all-you-can-eat breakfast where local fire fighters serve visitors pink pancakes, sausage, coffee, and juice.  Each plate is only $5 and all proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society.  Free Parking.

Miller Lite Central City Park - Next to Levee Rd; show times at 11:30, 2 and 6 p.m. playtime at 8 p.m.  This thirty minute entertaining show is geared around educating the audience on the habits and nature of the sea lions and brings out the inherent comedic behavior of these animals: catching and retrieving objects, balancing, handstands, dancing, singing and interaction with the audience. The giant 7,000 gallon tank and adjacent pool allow for the public to view the animals swimming underwater and frolicking together as a family at all times throughout the course of the 10 days of the festival.  Free Event!

 

KIDS CHERRYDAZZLE

Central City Park from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

A day of FREE fun in the park just for the kids featuring:

  • Drawings for prize giveaways on the Coca-Cola Entertainment Stage Beginning at noon, please register in front of the stage
  • An Invisible Fence(R) Brand Pet Containment System ($1000.00 value) given away at 3 p.m.
  • Come meet Petals the Pink Poodle and her mascot friends
  • Don't miss the Poodle Patch featuring coloring, cookie decorating, and face painting
  • Tours on a Patrol Car, Amublance, and Firetruck with fingerprinting will be available

PET FASHION SHOW

Presented by FURever Friends Humane Society, Inc.

Miller Lite Central City Park from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on the Coca-Cola Entertainment Stage.  Registration is from 11:00 until 12:30 at the front of the stage.  $25 prize to each 1st place category winner! Let your pet strut their stuff for prizes during this adorable fashion show!  Categories will include Best Dressed, Pet/Owner Look-A-Like, Most Unusual, Prettiest in Pink and the crowning of the DoggyDazzle King and Queen!  All types of pets are welcome. Free Event!

 

THE DIXIE DISC DOG CHAMPIONSHIPS

Presented by the Greater Atlanta Dog & Disc Club in association with WOOF Sports USA; 11a.m. until 5 p.m. in Miller Lite Central City Park

Don't miss the chance to witness one of the planet's premier Frisbee Dog contests.  The Championships feature world class Frisbee Dogs from around the country vying for the Dixie Disc Dog Championship title and a share of great prizes and trophies.  A beginner division is available with registration beginning at 9 a.m. for a $5.00 fee. MOTORCYCLES DISPLAY

Miller Lite Central City Park from 12:30 until 2:30 at the top of the park

After a scavenger hunt, motorcycle enthusiasts around the state will be at Central City Park with over 100 bikes on display!  Free Event!

 

THE SNAKES OF GEORGIA ENCOUNTER

Presented by Southeastern Reptile Rescue

Miller Lite Central City Park from 2:30 until 3:30 on the Coca-Cola Entertainment Stage.  Bring the kids for live demonstrations with venomous and non-venomous snakes of Georgia.  Visitors will receive education on snake identification, snake bite first-aid, how to avoid being bitten, and how to safeguard your property against snake infestations.  For more information, please visit the Southeastern Reptile Rescue's Booth during the first weekend of the festival.  Free Event!

 

CHERRY BLOSSOM BED RACE

Race on down to Cherry Street for the annual Cherry Blossom Bed Race.  The racing beds not only compete for the best time, but will also be judged for the fastest, funniest and most original racing beds along with a judge's choice award.  Applications are available online at www.cherryblossom.com or by calling 478-751-7413.  All heats will be electronically timed courtesy of Technicon.  Free Event!

 

CHERRY BLOSSOM LAWNMOWER RACES

Third Street Park from Cherry to Poplar. 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Watch professional lawn mower drivers race through the streets of downtown Macon! The award winning Lawn Mower Grand Prix returns to Third Street Park.
