Festival Organizers say thank you!
The 2010 Cherry Blossom Festival as held March 19th through the 28th in locations across Central Georgia. Highlights from the festival included a Gospel Concert, Diamond Ball, Tunes and Balloons, Parade, Fashion Show, Party with a Purpose Contemporary Christian Concert, Street Party, Central City Park Festivities for the entire ten days, and a Grand Finale. The festival had record breaking crowds at several events including Tunes and Balloons and the Fashion Show.
The Cherry Blossom Festival extends a heartfelt thank you to the Board of Directors and Trustee Members, sponsors, volunteers, Mayor Robert Reichert, Macon City Council, Chairman Sam Hart and the Bibb County Commissioners, the Macon Police Department, Bibb County Sheriff’s Department, Macon-Bibb County Fire Department, the City of Macon and all its departments, especially Central Services, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Macon-Bibb County Health Department, Macon-Bibb County Emergency Management, and the Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau for your cooperation and continued support.
