Hay House Greatest Hits of 1650

January 31 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$35
OVERVIEW

Enjoy an evening of classical music in the splendor of Hay House, featuring renowned Soprano Krysta Therieau and Luteinist Gregory Hamilton as they perform the “Greatest Hits of 1650.” The program will include the duo playing some of the most beautiful and popular music from the time of the Renaissance and Baroque, including musical pieces by John Dowland, Claudio Monteverdii, Francesca and Giulio Caccini, François Couperin and many others.

The program is a taste of the most popular tunes of the time from “Kemp’s Jig” (Tavern), “Salve Regina” (Church) and “Come Again” (Theatre). Hamilton will be playing a variety of lutes, including a Theorbo—a six fool long lute.

Lemonade, white wine, and light refreshments will be served.

PARKING
Limited parking is available in the small parking lot directly behind Hay House. The driveway entrance is on the corner of Georgia Avenue and Spring Street. Parking is also available on the street in front of Hay House.
